February’s #avgeek gallery: 76 cool aviation photos
Hello Today in the Sky readers! It’s time for the February 2018 edition of our “#avgeek photo gallery.” For the uninitiated, it’s a batch of fun airplane and aviation photos from around the globe.
This month’s collection features something new — and a bonus edition. This time we feature two separate galleries that take a look at the passenger planes made by the world’s two biggest makers of regional aircraft. One (above) slideshow focuses on Canada’s Bombardier while the other (below) looks at Brazil’s Embraer.
February’s double-gallery also helps make up for the one-month hiatus that the #avgeek gallery took in January. Rest assured, though, that the feature will remain a monthly one for Today in the Sky.
February’s galleries also continue a theming trend for the #avgeek feature. You may also want to check out some of our previous themes. (Scroll down)
November’s gallery featured shots from Switzerland’s Zurich International Airport (ZRH). Our other previous themed galleries were October (shots from Los Angeles); September (shots from both Hong Kong and Taipei) and August (cool Boeing 757 pics).
As for our #avgeek gallery, it first launched in January 2015. Since then, it’s become a permanent monthly fixture thanks to popular demand from readers.
As with previous editions, the gallery is almost mostly the handiwork of photographer and Today in the Sky contributor Jeremy Dwyer-Lindgren. This month’s gallery also features about a dozen photos from our collection of wire photos.
