Violence in Bihar even after Ram Navami, what has happened so far?

According to PRESS24 NEWS correspondent, Nalanda’s Superintendent of Police Ashok Mishra has said that the situation is under control now, incidents of violence have taken place at many places in the night. Police has brought the situation under control by reaching those places.

According to Ashok Mishra, currently four companies of BSF have been deployed in Bihar Sharif, while two companies of paramilitary have also been deployed.

According to Nalanda District Magistrate Shashank Shubhankar, a person injured in this violence was referred to Patna for treatment, who has died.

Meanwhile, the district administration has also called a meeting of all 51 wards of the city so that peace can be restored. According to Nalanda DM, at present the situation in Bihar Sharif is under control.

On the other hand, the police have termed the news of migration of people due to fear of violence in Sasaram as a complete rumour.

Police has claimed that the situation in Sasaram is completely under control and people should not pay attention to rumours.

In Sasaram too, there was violence and stone pelting between two communities on the occasion of Ram Navami.

Home Minister Amit Shah’s public meeting was to be held here on Sunday i.e. April 2, which was cancelled.

The BJP has alleged that Section 144 has been imposed here due to the fear of Amit Shah’s rally. On the other hand, the District Magistrate of Rohtas had told PRESS24 NEWS that Section 144 has not been imposed anywhere in the district.

The district administration in Sasaram had imposed prohibitory orders following the violence on Friday afternoon. Home Minister Amit Shah had canceled his visit to Sasaram on Sunday.

BJP state president Samrat Chowdhary blamed the Nitish Kumar government for canceling the program of Sasaram.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said, “When a central minister comes, the state government makes arrangements for his security. We don’t know why they were coming and why they are not coming now.”
