Star-studded Indian team was all out for just 117 runs in the second ODI against Australia in Visakhapatnam.
This is Team India’s fourth lowest score on Indian soil.
How dominant Australia’s bowlers were can be gauged from the fact that the entire Indian team could play only 26 overs.
Virat Kohli scored the maximum 31 runs from India. Akshar Patel remained unbeaten after scoring 29 runs.
Mitchell Starc took five wickets for 53 runs for Australia. Sean Abbott took two wickets for 23 runs.
Sean Abbott said, “(The pitch) was helping the bowling. I think Starc set the tone. We’ve seen him do that before.”
India’s batsmen looked completely battered in front of Australia’s pace battery. Australia captain Steve Smith won the toss and invited India to bat.
Only four Indian batsmen could reach double digits.
In the first match of the three-match series, India won by five wickets.
