Before last week, very few people in India might have heard the name of America’s Silicon Valley Bank (SVB).

This bank, famous among start-ups, has been shut down by US regulatory bodies. Indian start-up companies were also among those who were troubled by this. Companies were worried about how their expenses would go, how they would be able to pay salaries to their employees.
