In what has been revealed from the footage, the stained face of Amit’s father Ramkishan Bansal has come to the fore. After the son’s suicide, Ramkishan first beat the daughter-in-law with kicks and punches and then put a cutter on her neck. Pinky continued to suffer but Ramkishan’s heart did not tremble. After the truth came out in the footage and SIT investigation, the police have registered a report against Ramkishan on the complaint of Pinky’s father. But he was not taken into custody even till one o’clock in the night.

The CCTV footage that has emerged as the key evidence in the suicide of interior designer Amit Bansal in Shastrinagar has revealed a heart-wrenching reality. Seeing this footage, it is clear that the relationship in the family was only in name. According to the footage, the police say that when Pinky reached there after Amit committed suicide, seeing him swinging on the noose, tried to take him down. Even after a long struggle, the noose did not open, so he cut the noose with a paper cutter. Amit’s lifeless body fell down. Pinky could not believe that Amit was dead. She kept moving his body over and over again. She kept on screaming. Get up Amit, open your eyes Amit. But Amit had left his breath a long time ago.

Neither the mother-in-law felt pity nor the father-in-law’s hands trembled.
It is seen in the footage that when Pinky felt that Amit was no longer alive, she first tried to put the same noose around her neck but she did not succeed in it. After this, she cut the vein of her hand with a cutter and started crying with Amit. During all this incident Amit’s mother stood in the corner silently watching everything. Meanwhile, Ramkishan reached there with eight-month-old granddaughter Ikkavira in his lap. As soon as they left, they started beating the bloody pinky wrapped around Amit’s body with kicks and punches. After this Ramkishan lifted the cutter lying on the ground. This is where the footage is blurry. But the scene of Mauka-e-Accident is making it clear that the cutter picked up by Ramkishan was not thrown. Pinky’s neck was hit with the same. Because in the first footage, Pinky only cut the vein of her hand, Ramkishan hit the neck only.

Highlights

  • Instructions to 56 teams of Transport Department, vehicles that cause pollution should not be left
  • From scooter-bike to four wheeler drivers also got invoices of 10-10 thousand
  • In the special campaign, more than 250 challans were issued till the evening of the first day itself, heavy fine

New Delhi
Action has been started at many levels to deal with pollution in Delhi. While teams formed to check dust pollution are visiting different construction sites and inspecting them, enforcement teams of the Transport Department have also swung into action since Thursday. The Transport Department has launched a special drive against pollution and maximum number of challans have been issued for those driving without valid Pollution Control Certificate (PUC).

Those driving from scooter-bike to four wheeler have also been challaned. Driving a vehicle without a valid PUC is becoming very costly and for this a fine of up to Rs 10,000 is being challaned. Along with this, if a 15-year-old vehicle is found running on the road, then it is also being confiscated.

According to Navalendra Kumar Singh, Joint Commissioner, Transport Department, on the first day more than 30 teams of enforcement were engaged in the campaign against pollution and more than 250 challans have been issued. He has appealed to the people to cooperate in the campaign against pollution and drive their vehicles with valid PUC. Pollution is a big problem and everyone has to join this campaign together. This campaign of the department will be intensified and strict action will be taken against vehicles causing pollution.

Can’t drive without PUC
On the first day, challans have also been issued for scooter-bikers, who did not have a valid PUC. Many of those who have been challaned did not even have PUC and those who had PUC, their documents had expired and they did not get the pollution check of the vehicle done. The government has extended the period of remaining documents of transport till November 30, but PUC is necessary. A vehicle cannot be driven without a PUC.

10 thousand for running without PUC and keeping expired PUC
A fine of Rs 10,000 is levied for running without PUC and possessing an expired PUC. There are around 950 PUC centers in Delhi. Challan for driving without valid PUC has been increased from Rs 1000 to Rs 10000. Along with this, license can also be suspended for three months for driving without PUC and a public notice has been issued in this regard.

The department had already issued public notice

A public notice has already been issued by the Transport Department, warning people that strict action will be taken against those driving without a valid Pollution Control Certificate (PUC). Along with the fine, the license will also be suspended. The winter season will now come in Delhi and the problem of pollution will increase in winter. The government is taking all necessary steps to tackle the problem of vehicular pollution. On the other hand, if we look at the pollution test report from July to September, 3 to 5 percent of vehicles in different categories are failing in the test. Four wheeler vehicles are failing the most in the pollution test and three wheelers have failed the least in the test.
