This action has been taken on the basis of the report of Sanjeev Mittal Committee, Commissioner of Infrastructure and Industrial Development (IIDC). A total of 26 officers have been convicted in the report. Of these, 20 officers including 4 IAS have retired. Whereas, two have died. The government has also lodged an FIR in the entire matter in Vigilance. While the then manager, Niyojan Mukesh Goyal, has already been suspended.

Order for action on retired officers also
The 26 officials who were convicted in the Supertech-Emerald Court scam in the report of the Infrastructure and Industrial Development Commissioner (IIDC) Sanjeev Mittal committee include the then CEOs of Noida Mohinder Singh and SK Dwivedi, Additional CEOs RP Arora and PN Batham and OSD Yashpal Singh. are also included. On the basis of the report, the government has also issued orders for action against the retired officers.

Recently, the Supreme Court had ordered the demolition of illegal tower numbers T-16 and T-17 built on the group housing plot allotted to Supertech Ltd. Also asked for action against the guilty officers of Noida. On the instructions of CM Yogi Adityanath, a four-member committee was formed under the chairmanship of IIDC Sanjeev Mittal to fix the responsibility. The committee has submitted its report to the government.

Illegal construction got the cooperation of the authorities
The report said that not only did M/s Supertech ignore the rules from time to time, but the Noida Authority officials also ignored criminal and other acts against their rules for the purpose of giving undue pecuniary benefits to the builder company. There will also be a case in the competent court
As per the requirement of the Supreme Court, U.P. Industrial Area Development Act-1976 and UP. In view of the violation of the provisions of the Apartment (Promotion of Construction, Ownership and Maintenance) Act-2010, directions have also been given to file a case in the competent court against the officials of Noida Authority and Supertech Limited found involved.

In its report, the committee has identified the two architectural institutions and also mentioned the involvement of their architects. Therefore, the government has given instructions to send the case to the Council of Architecture for action against them.

Action will be taken in encroachment on green belt within 15 days
The report also said that Supertech Limited encroached upon the plot by including the reserved green belt in the layout plan. Its total area is seven thousand square meters. In this regard, action is also being taken against the guilty officials from the authority level. The government has directed to make the green belt free from encroachment and ensure action against the identified officials in the next 15 days.

The SIT has submitted its report to the government in the case of two illegal towers of 40 storeys of Supertech Limited in Noida. The four-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) has submitted a detailed report to Industrial Development Minister Satish Mahana after a month-long investigation. In the SIT report, the involvement of 26 officials of Noida Development Authority in the Supertech case has been exposed. The Uttar Pradesh government has also taken action on the investigation report of the SIT.

The statement issued said that out of the twenty-six officers of Noida Authority found guilty in the report of the SIT, two have died, 4 officers are serving and 20 officers have retired. One of the four serving officers has been suspended. Now departmental proceedings are being started by suspending three officers. Orders have also been issued to take action against other retired officers as per rules.

4 directors and 2 architects of Supertech Limited also trapped
The Uttar Pradesh government has issued instructions to the Vigilance Unit for investigation by registering an FIR in the Vigilance Establishment against the officers of Noida Authority found involved in the case, 4 directors of Supertech Limited and 2 architects. Supreme Court ordered to demolish illegal tower
There were clues that Supertech Limited, in connivance with the Noida Development Authority, had illegally constructed two towers of 40 floors each. In this case, on August 30, 2021, the Supreme Court had ordered to demolish both the illegal towers and return the flat buyers money with interest. Complying with the Supreme Court order, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath suspended the then planning manager Mukesh Goyal and constituted the SIT on 3 September. Yogi had directed to identify those responsible officers who were posted in the Noida Authority between 2004 and 2017 after conducting a detailed investigation.
