Chief Minister Thackeray had directed in the meeting on Monday that the record of the provinces coming to the state should be kept. From their movement to living and working place should also be monitored. MNS President Raj Thackeray is also making these demands. On the other hand, State BJP President Chandrakant Patil said that do not the people of Maharashtra commit such crimes. He said that no one society should be targeted for a particular crime.
Mumbai BJP in-charge and MLA Atul Bhatkhalkar has demanded to register a case against the Chief Minister under Section 153 (A) at Samtanagar Police Station in Kandivali East. He said that such directions of the Chief Minister would increase the enmity between the locals versus the provincials in the state. Many people will feel that the incidents of rape are increasing in Maharashtra because of the provinces. This has frightened the provinces.
550 women raped in Mumbai in seven months
Atul Bhatkhalkar said that more than six office-bearers of Shiv Sena have been accused of rape. In the last seven months, 550 women have been raped in Mumbai, of which 323 are minors. Uddhav Thackeray government should find out how many accused are provincial in this.
