The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has relaxed the night curfew in the state by one more hour in view of the fall in the number of Kovid cases. Night curfew timings will now be from 11 pm to 6 am instead of 10 pm till 6 am. Recently, the Yogi government had announced to end the Sunday lockdown. Before that Saturday’s lockdown was removed. After this, now the government has also relaxed the night curfew.
According to the order issued by Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Awasthi, the new timing will be applicable with immediate effect. However, the order said, other COVID protocols would continue to be strictly followed, including wearing of masks, using sanitisers and maintaining social distancing.

The new order comes after cinema hall and multiplex owners and hospitality business people demanded relaxation in curfew hours as it is adversely affecting their businesses.
