Indore: Veteran actor Manoj Bajpayee has filed a defamation case against Bollywood critic Kamal Rashid Khan (KRK) in Indore district court. Recently, Kamal Rashid Khan tried to malign Manoj Bajpayee’s image by making many indecent tweets against him. Manoj Bajpayee on Tuesday filed a defamation suit against KRK through advocate Paresh Joshi.
Manoj Bajpayee appeared in Indore district court on Tuesday and recorded his statement. Manoj’s lawyer Parvez Joshi said that KRK has been making derogatory statements against many superstars in the past as well. A few days ago, he had made several objectionable remarks against Manoj Bajpayee on social media, due to which it has been decided to file a defamation case against him.
Bajpai had sought registration of a defamation case under section 500 of the Indian Penal Code before the first class judge of the district court. He has also alleged that KRK had made objectionable tweets about Manoj Bajpayee on several social media platforms on July 26.
