Indian electric bike maker Komaki has launched a special electric scooter for the elderly and differently-abled. Introduced by the name XGT X5, this scooter can be booked for free. Let us tell you, Komaki is known for making electric scooters and currently there are more than 6 electric scooters and bikes in the company’s portfolio. Apart from this, the company also manufactures electric rickshaws. The XGT X5 electric scooter has a maximum range of 90 kms on a single charge. Let’s know everything about it.

The XGT X5 electric bike has been launched in two models. Its XGT-X5 GEL model is priced at Rs 72,500 (ex-showroom) and the expensive XGT-X5- (72V24AH) model will be sold for Rs 90,500 (ex-showroom). The scooter will be sold in Red and Gray color options. The company said that the Komaki XGT X5 can be booked online at all the company’s dealerships in India or online through the website without any token amount. Apart from this, the company is also offering good EMI offers to the customers on the XGT-X5 scooter.

The company claims that the XGT X5 can be driven 80 to 90 kilometers on a single charge. The model is compatible with both VRLA gel and lithium-ion batteries. This scooter comes with regenerative braking system and also gets a repair switch, by pressing which the scooter automatically detects the problem in the machine and fixes it or recommends a fix.

According to automobile news website Rushlane, in H1 2021, Komaki has sold a total of 21,000 units and Komaki claims to have sold over 1,000 units of the XGT X5 so far.
