Net Pass Students Additional Chance To Complete Masters Degree By The End Of Next Year

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has given a big relief to the students who have passed the National Eligibility Test (NET) in December 2018 and June 2019.

The commission said that students who have passed both these exams but are yet to complete their master’s degree will have to complete the degree by 2022. The commission has decided to give additional time keeping in mind the corona epidemic.

UGC Secretary Prof. Rajneesh Jain has written a letter to all the states and universities in this regard. It said that this relief is being given to the successful students of the eligibility test of Assistant Professor in universities and colleges in December 2018 and June 2019.

It has been decided to give additional time to the successful students of this eligibility test, whose master’s degree has not been completed yet or the result is delayed.

Under this, students who have passed NET December 2018 will have to complete their master’s degree by 30 June 2022 and June 2019 successful students by 31 December 2022. If the result of successful students of both these examinations has not been released due to the pandemic, then they can apply provisionally.
