Earlier this week, ZEE5 announced ‘200 – Halla Ho’ starring Amol Palekar, Barun Sobti, Rinku Rajguru, Sahil Khattar, Saloni Batra, Indranil Sengupta and Upendra Limaye. Set to premiere on ZEE5 in August, the makers have now released the teaser of the film, which is sure to grab the interest of the audience.
Without divulging much, the teaser sets the premise for the film: how 200 Dalit women unitedly took law and justice into their own hands by thrashing a gangster/robber/serial rapist in open court. Inspired by true events, this was one of the rarest cases in India’s justice system and the film uncovers the shocking incidents and circumstances that led 200 women to take such a drastic step to get justice.

Produced by Yoodlee Films, the film production arm of Saregama, “200 – Halla Ho” will premiere on ZEE5 in August.
