Where is the occupation of Taliban in Afghanistan?
The Taliban have increased their attacks in the southern and eastern provinces of Afghanistan. Earlier his focus was on the northern areas of the country. This now threatens at least 20 of the country’s 34 provincial capitals.
Many of these cities are very important from a strategic point of view as they are located on national highways connecting the national capital Kabul to the north, south, east and west of the country.
With the international army going back and peace talks at a standstill, the Taliban have captured many districts since May 1.
