The Gozero Skellig Lite has been priced at Rs 19,999 in India and is an online exclusive model. This means that this electric cycle can be bought online only through the official website of the company. It is the most affordable e-bike in the Skellig series. Apart from this, the company already has Skellig and Skellig Pro, which are priced at Rs 32,499 and Rs 39,999 respectively.
Talking about the design, it is inspired by the design of the traditional cycle. A battery pack and other essential components are fitted in the middle of its frame, which helps it to operate without pedaling using the throttle. The tires are bigger and the transmission is equipped with a multi gear set. In terms of power, the Skellig Lite is powered by a 250W rear hub-drive motor that can accelerate the e-bike to a maximum speed of 25 kmph. It gets 3-level pedal assist.
The battery pack has a capacity of 210 Wh, which takes 2.5 hours to fully charge. Its range is 25 kilometers. The bike includes GoZero Drive Control 2.0 LED display unit, through which the rider can switch between three pedal-assist modes. The e-bike uses 26×1.95 dimension tires and gets mixed metal stem handles, specialized V-brakes and strong front forks.
The company says that all the three variants of Skellig – Skellig, Skellig Lite and Skellig Pro have received a great response in the Indian market and sales of all three models are increasing over time.
