There was an atmosphere of fear in the Indian camp at the Tokyo Olympics when the COVID-19 alarm was sounded on Wednesday due to wrong entry in the health status application. Deputy Chef de Mission Prem Verma, however, clarified that no one has shown symptoms of the virus and there was no positive case.
He said that wrong information had been entered in updating health records. There is no positive case. If you give wrong information about your health record then alarm sounds in app and CLO gets a mail to rectify it.
For example, if you accidentally record your temperature as 38 Celsius, the CLO will be alerted by the infection control software, he said. However, there is no positive case in Team India.
