Mamta will come to Delhi on July 25 and will be here for the whole day. During this, apart from Sonia Gandhi, he will have separate meetings with some other leaders of the opposition including Sharad Pawar, Arvind Kejriwal, Akhilesh Yadav. Sources in Trinamool Congress say that Mamata wants the opposition party to come on one platform from now and start preparing for the next Lok Sabha elections. Initially, all the opposition parties should find a consensus issue to surround the BJP. It can also start with building a consensus among the opposition parties in the presidential election.
Prashant Kishor is also trying
Prashant Kishor is already working on Mamta and Sharad Pawar’s formula for opposition unity. Last month, only after Prashant’s efforts, a meeting of some opposition leaders was held at Sharad Pawar’s residence in Delhi itself. After this, Prashant has held a meeting with senior Congress leaders in the last two days. Prashant Kishor believes that without bringing the Congress along, the opposition parties will not be able to achieve their goals.
