At 9.45 pm on Wednesday night, a Pakistani drone was seen hovering near the fencing in Palanwala sector. When the army heard the sound of the drone near Raja Post, it opened fire. This drove the drone back to Pakistan territory. Sources said that it was a Pakistani quadcopter that was sent for reiki in the area. Khod police station in-charge Balwinder Singh Bhau said that the Pak drone was driven away by the army.
A search operation was also conducted in the border villages. The army also launched a search operation along the border. On Thursday, at around 9 pm, people also saw the drone in Abduliya of RS Pura sector. People say that red light was seen in the sky. However, BSF has not confirmed this.

Earlier on Tuesday night, the drone seen in Arnia sector was fired upon by the BSF.
