Section 144 has been imposed in the national capital for security in view of Independence Day. Delhi Police has issued an order related to this. According to the order, this arrangement will continue till August 16.
In view of the Independence Day and the terrorist attacks being carried out by the terrorists, the flying of drones, para gliders and balloons etc. has been banned in Delhi. Also, Section 144 has been imposed for flying them. The ban on flying drones will remain in force for 32 days i.e. till August 16.
In the order issued by Delhi Police Commissioner Balaji Srivastava, it has been said that the system of anti-drone area has come into force from Friday. In view of the security of the capital, the ban on flying para-gliders, para-motors, hang gliders, UAVs, UAS, microlight aircraft, hot air balloons, small sized battery operated aircraft, quadcopters and para jumping will remain in force during this period.
Delhi Police has issued this prohibitory order under Section 144 of CrPC. This decision has been taken as the suspects are trying to create disturbances through the celestial route. However, this step has already been taken for security reasons. Action will be taken against any person who violates this order under section 188 of IPC.
