Washington: America’s well-known space agency National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) shared photos of participants who got a chance to do an internship with them. However, after the photo was shared by NASA, criticism started, as the participants also had a picture of Indian-American intern Pratima Roy. Roy’s table shows sculptures of Hindu deities and pictures of Hindu gods on the wall.
This purity of the idol angered some intellectuals, as these intellectuals are not happy to show their devotion to the idol. He also questioned the ‘scientific nature’ of the statue. However, Pratima has earned the opportunity to do an internship with NASA because of her similar scientific flair. Some accused NASA of ruining science and some said why a Hindu needs to be surrounded by gods and goddesses? It’s just a question of why fish need to be surrounded by water. Intern Roy’s sculpted photo shared by NASA, has now sparked a flurry of comments that clearly stamp the existence of ‘Hinduphobia’.
After seeing this we said;

However, it is also certain that if a picture of a Christian or Muslim person (demonstrating their religious identity) had been shared, there would never have been such a controversy. There is a constant discussion of Hinduphobia and its effects on various institutions. Its existence was denied several times, but Tulsi Gabbard, a member of the US Congress, shared her experiences of Hinduphobia during her career.
