Himanshi Gandhi, who made headlines on social media from Facebook and YouTube, committed suicide by jumping from the Signature Bridge under suspicious circumstances. Under what circumstances he took this step remains a mystery. Himanshi used to raise social issues. She was missing since June 24. The family had given a missing complaint. His body was recovered from Yamuna river on June 25.

According to the police, Himanshi lived with the family in Sant Nagar Burari. She had gone to Vijay Nagar on June 24. He had opened a cafe with friends. After not getting any information about him till late evening, the father had lodged a missing report at the Burari police station. At 4 o’clock that day, Himanshi’s friend Ayush had called and told Himanshi’s mother that Aunt Himanshi had left here in anger. We are looking for him. Himanshi did not reach home till night. On June 25, Himanshi’s body was found in Yamuna.

Revealed from CCTV footage
During the investigation, the police got the footage of the CCTV camera installed on the Signature Bridge. In it, around 3.30 pm on June 24, Himanshi is seen jumping from the Signature Bridge into the Yamuna river. In the footage, Himanshi was first trying to jump on top of the railing, but when she could not climb the railing, she jumped into the Yamuna river entering the middle of the railing.
