TCL’s newly launched MoveTime Family Watch 2 will be a children’s watch! Know the price and special safety features

TCL has launched its MoveTime Family Watch 2. This smartwatch is the successor of last year’s MoveTime Family Watch. MoveTime Family Watch was launched keeping in mind the senior/old age citizens. Whereas MoveTime Family Watch 2 has been launched for children. Therefore, the features given in it and its design have also been made keeping in mind the children. Its sale will start in Europe in August. It comes with special features for the safety of children. Parents can also create a safe zone for the child as per their convenience so that they get an alert on their phone when the child goes out.

MoveTime Family Watch 2 Price and Availability

The sale of MoveTime Family Watch 2 will start in August across Europe. It costs €149 (approximately Rs 13,000). No information has been given by the company about its availability in markets other than Europe.

MoveTime Family Watch 2 Specifications

The MoveTime Family Watch 2 has a large 1.54-inch screen. However, it has not been confirmed by the company that it will come with the same AMOLED screen as its previous version. Its bezels are quite thick. It has a dual tone pink and rose gold finish. At the same time, its button has been given a purple touch which is given on the side. Its buckle is made of metal and it has been given a silver finish.

TCL says that it has developed a dedicated Kids UI for the smartwatch. Its camera is also better than the old version and the battery capacity has been increased up to 40%. For 4G connectivity, it has a nano-SIM card slot. Parents will be able to call their children via voice or video on the Watch. They can also send text messages on the Watch.

Security is one of the key features of this smartwatch. TCL provides real-time geolocation that shows where the child is at all times. It also logs a full location history. Parents can create a Safe Zone Geofence and get an alert on their phone if the child leaves the area. It also has a one-touch SOS button so that children can reach emergency contacts as quickly as possible.
