It is impossible to have a uniform evaluation policy for all the state boards in the country. The Supreme Court said this on Thursday. Actually, on June 24, the court was hearing a petition to cancel the class XII board examination. Meanwhile, a bench of Justices AM Khanwilkar and Dinesh Maheshwari observed that each board is autonomous and separate. Therefore, the court cannot direct them to adopt the same scheme.

Each board should prepare its plan
Justice Khanwilkar said that we cannot direct the preparation of uniform scheme for the students of the whole country. Each board has to prepare its own plan. They know a lot about it and they have experts to give the right advice.

After the hearing is over, the Supreme Court has directed all state boards to notify the scheme for evaluation within 10 days from today and declare the result of internal assessment by July 31. Along with this, it has been asked to make specified timeline like CBSE and ICSE. That is, around July 4, the details of the evaluation policy prepared by all the state education boards to declare the results of class 12th students will be released.

At the same time, the Andhra Pradesh government has decided to conduct the twelfth board exam in the last week of July. On this, the Supreme Court reprimanded the state government and said that the state should have a concrete plan. Also the state will have to take a decision. How can the state play with the lives of the students?
