CBSE has told the Supreme Court that the results of class 12th will be declared on the basis of performance of students in class 10th, 11th and 12th. In the result, 30 percent weightage will be given to class 10th, 30 percent to 11th and 40 percent weightage to class 12th performance.
In the Supreme Court, the vacation bench of Justice AM Khanwilkar and Justice Maheshwari was informed by CBSE about how students will be evaluated in class 12th. In class 10th and 11th, marking will be done on the basis of the three subjects which have got the highest marks in the term examination. On the other hand the numbers of unit, term and practical examination of class 12th will be added. On the basis of these two, students will get marks in the 12th result.
