Jatinkhuma, secretary of Lalpa Kohran Thar Church, claimed that when he was brought to Chuanthar Talangnum village in Serchhip district on Sunday evening, the family members noticed that his pulse was still going. Zaitinkuma said, ‘His pulse was felt in the oximeter. His body is still warm and there was no muscle stiffness till Monday afternoon. The people of Chuanthar cannot bury him under such circumstances.’
The sect was formed 70 years ago
According to Ramjuwa, president of the Chuanthar Village Council, more than 2,500 members from 433 families are part of the sect, which was founded by Jeon-e’s uncle some 70 years ago. Most of the members of the sect work as carpenters for a living.
Ramzuawa said that they all respected Ziona very much, and would not want to perform her funeral until they were convinced that he had left this world.
