Businessman Navneet Kalra has got bail from a Delhi court in the case of black marketing of oxygen concentrator. This bail has been given to him with several conditions. The court has restrained Kalra from contacting the people to whom he had sold the oxygen concentrator.
In granting bail to Kalra, the court has put mainly three conditions. First, he will not tamper with the evidence. Second, will not affect the witnesses. Third, will cooperate fully in the investigation. Delhi Police opposed Kalra’s bail plea in court.
Judge Arun Kumar Garg said that Kalra will not contact any of the persons to whom he has sold oxygen concentrators. Earlier, the court dismissed the petition of Delhi Police. He had sought five days custody of Kalra.
What is the whole matter?
The businessman is accused of hoarding an Oxygen concentrator in some restaurants in South Delhi. Delhi Police had raided these restaurants. He got a large number of oxygen concentrators from here. These included Khan Chacha Restaurant, Nege Ju Restaurant. His owner is Navneet Kalra. Police say that the black marketing of oxygen concentrator has been planned by Matrix Cellular owner Gagan Duggal. These oxygen concentrators were being sold at exorbitant prices from restaurants in Kalra. Gagan planned it sitting in London. The CEO of Gagan’s company in India is Gaurav Khanna.
