During the hearing, a bench of Justices AM Khanvilkar and Justice Dinesh Maheshwari asked the petitioner Mamta Sharma whether they had given a copy of the petition to the CBSE and ICSE lawyers before the hearing? In response, Mamta Sharma said that she will send an advance copy to the lawyers today. The bench replied that the petitioner had to send the copy to the lawyers of CBSE and ICSE before the hearing. Therefore, the hearing is being postponed. Now the hearing will be held on Saturday.

Advocate Mamta Sharma had filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking cancellation of the 12th board examination. In which he had said that if the examinations are postponed in view of the current circumstances, then there may be a delay in the results. Which will have an impact on further studies. At the same time, it is not possible to get lakhs of children tested safely in the Corona epidemic. Therefore the examinations should be canceled.
