The minister also asked the railway administration to keep an eye on the situation and to be ready to provide the necessary goods and other help in the affected areas in the shortest possible time.
Goyal said that the control room, working round the clock to monitor the cyclone, is already functioning. He also asked big industries to collaborate with and support small industries suppliers working in their area and industry associations in the neighborhood.
The Minister of State for Shipping, Shipping and Waterways, Mansukh Mandaviya, was also present at the meeting.
