The Delhi government has announced to extend the lockdown for a week amid decreasing infection rates in Delhi. Now the prohibition will be in force till 5:00 am on May 24th. This time also the metro will not run in Delhi. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced this.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that the lockdown in Delhi is being extended for a week. The lockdown is being extended until 5 a.m. next Monday. Kejriwal said that about 6,500 cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate has come down to 1 percent and close to 10 percent.
Let us tell you that the lockdown restrictions were coming to an end at five in the morning of 17 in Delhi. Earlier on Sunday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal issued instructions to extend the lockdown for a week.

The Chief Minister said that the lockdown has been used to strengthen health infrastructure and resources. It is expected that there will be more recovery in the next one week. Restrictions will remain the same.
There will be no weddings at public places this time in Delhi. There will be weddings at home with only twenty people. Meanwhile people connected with essential items will be allowed to move out of the house.
